Sound Production
Fish Out of Water
An opening scene to a short film about survival and independence.
Role: Foley Artist, Editor
Guidelines: Create sound and foley for the provided clip
For this project, I created my own foley using water, plywood, paper, and a bucket. I performed many different combinations of motions in order to produce different types of similar sounds. I edited the project using Adobe Audition. I challenged myself by using new sound equipment that I wasn't fully familiar with yet. However, I quickly learned what I needed to do, and I followed through. It was a simple project, but I learned more skills about performing Foley.
Select Start
A meta horror short that utilizes digital and sound effects to create a fun story.
Role: Boom Operator, Stunt Double
Guidelines: 1-2 minute horror short

I was requested to participate in this project because of my experience as a boom operator. I controlled the sound on set and ensured the audio was high-quality. One challenge I ran into was working with a broken boom pole. We were unable to get it replaced, so I had to be careful when handling the microphone. Even though it was frustrating, I made it work and kept going. It was a fun project that my team and I all enjoyed working on. I was even able to jump in as a stunt double. It is meant to use creative freedom to make an idea that would be entertaining during the Halloween season.
